So Soon the Past
"The Future," went down Saturday night as a total success! People showed up from every part of Vancouver to celebrate the Future in style. The house was thumping soon after dark and got so hot with wall to wall packed in gyrating bodies that we were thanking ourselves for structurally re-inforcing the floors, and clearing away all breakables.

We outfitted our DJs with soft pillows to avoid skipping decks.

At 12:30 I discovered the fuzz at the front door and people hanging out of the trees out front. They wanted to can it but we managed to negotiate our way out of a $2000.00 fine. Things kept rocking hot and heavy until 2:30 ith a dedicated bunch pushing through til dawn.

A big thanks goes out to DJ Ride and DJ Craig Alan for their hot electro / breaks sets, our understanding and cool neighbours (except the guy next door) and to all my friends who came to wish me safe travels. It was truely perfect to have everyone I love in one place getting down HARD and being in such good spirits!

Somewhere on the dance floor I was attacked by nostalgia, but the sea of smiles around me eclipsed it and sent it home packing. I know I will have lifelong friends here forever.

Now, if anybody has more pictures please send them my way. I was only able to get 10 pictures snapped before my lens was covered with sweaty condensation!
